The Kimberley ride was first launched in 2016 where the three departure dates SOLD OUT in less than 48 hours. In partnership with Christian and Laura Hayes from Hidden trails we have masterminded the ultimate five night, six day itinerary that will leave you completely spellbound by the beauty and spirit of this pristine landscape. Guests start their Kimberley riding adventure by staying at Home Valley Station. Home Valley is located on the infamous Gibb River Road where the mighty Pentecost River flanks the property and the Cockburn Range stands to attention on the horizon.

The following day guests leave behind flushing toilets and hot showers for three nights spent under a canopy of stars, snug in a swag. Your guide, Christian Hayes, who has cut his teeth in the Kimberley bull catching and breaking in horses, will lead you through this ancient, mysterious land.

He’ll share a myriad of stories from the ‘white fella’ history to dreamtime and sample bush tucker that you’ll pass along the way. Both Christian and Laura are THE masters at setting up a bush camp. Trust us, this husband and wife duo has an astute eye for picking brilliant camp locations beside serene billabongs that are croc free and swimming safe.

Even though the terrain can be rocky at times, there will be moments where you’ll be able to dig your heels into your sparky, station horse, kick up some red dust and canter along well-worn cattle pads and river flats. Your final night will be spent at the iconic El Questro station in their beautifully appointed, riverside bungalows.

IF you’ve always wanted to explore the ancient lands of the Kimberley, sign up for this ride.

"Back to reality from one of the best weeks of my life! The Kimberley ride was rugged, beautiful and a fantastic experience that will not be easily forgotten. Great horses, company, food and of course....sunsets. The first of what I hope will be many globetrotter experiences."
