Coffee and Brazil go hand in hand, so why not explore the region where Brazil's highly acclaimed coffee is produced from the back of a horse. Riding guests will walk, trot, canter and gallop through fourth generation coffee plantations, where they will inhale and taste the coffee berries, speak to the growers and finally sample some of the world’s best organic coffee. For a horse enthusiast that has a love for coffee or agriculture there is no better way to submerse oneself into this progressive culture than riding through the coffee highlands in the northeast region of Sao Paulo state. This ride is a rich and diverse agricultural experience where guests stay in grand, historic plantation homes and explore a variety of terrain from canters across open pancake plains, wading through rivers to scaling mountains on well-bred and educated horses. The hosts at each Fazenda (Fazenda means homestead) are extremely hospitable and are passionate about sharing their homes and properties to people from all over the world. The food throughout the ride is exceptional and of gourmet quality. All of the meals are prepared with local, regional produce and guests can sample traditional Brazilian cuisine.
