Globetrotting's new rides in 2020

If you’ve been keeping an eye on our website, you’ll know that we’ve added a lot of bucket list horse riding holidays to our portfolio lately. Some are brand new arrivals, and some have been public knowledge for a while – which is why many are already sold out!
So here’s a bit of a recap to inspire your new year’s resolutions:

Twin Coast Adventure, New Zealand
5 days, 4 nights
Intermediate to advanced riders
New Zealand’s Bay of Islands region is as good as it gets: picture-book landscapes of ancient forests, golden sand dunes and turquoise waters, naturally trained horses to carry you on your journey, and New Zealand’s top horsemanship clinicians to guide the way.

River Valley Ride, New Zealand
8 days, 7 nights
Intermediate to advanced riders
Yep, New Zealand has done it again: our third horse riding holiday in this enchanted nation sees you traverse the achingly beautiful central highlands of the North Island astride barefoot and bitless horses who know the land almost as deeply as your guides, Nicola and Tommy.

The Special Edition Kimberley Ride, Australia
5 days, 4 nights
Beginner to advanced riders
A limited-run, deluxe version of The Kimberley Ride (which sells out in a heartbeat), this holiday combines the raw and wild beauty of the Kimberley region with the luxuries of El Questro Homestead. Trust us: you’ll leave a piece of your heart among the red dirt and baoab trees.

Alentejo Coast, Portugal
8 days, 7 nights
Intermediate to advanced riders
After road-testing the Costa Azul ride in Portugal in 2018, we were absolutely STOKED to add not just this ride, but two more itineraries with the same fantastic guides and horses to our Globetrotting portfolio! The Alentejo Coast ride takes in the idyllic seaside, saltwater wetlands and sun-drenched hills of the Alentejo region from the back of a proud, powerful Lusitano horse. If you’re looking to slow down and appreciate the simple pleasures of delicious food, good company, beautiful scenery and a fine horse, this is the ride for you.

Kingdom of the Lusitano, Portugal
8 days, 7 nights
Intermediate to advanced riders
The third of our rides in Portugal is for the Lusitano lovers out there: mounted on the steeds themselves, you’ll be transported through their homeland, culminating in a delightfully unhurried exploration of the royal Lusitano Stud Farm, where the BEST Lusitanos are bred, trained and competed! And of course, Portugal’s sumptuous food, fascinating culture and picture-perfect countryside will colour your trip.

The Loire Valley & Castles, France
8 days, 7 nights
Strong intermediate to advanced riders
From the all-star team behind the Bordeaux Wine Trail comes a journey through a region that is absolutely seeping with history! You’ll lose count of the number of awe-inspiring castles that you visit on this ride, and the forests, rivers and villages of the Loire Valley will steal your heart.

Kilimanjaro Elephant Ride, Tanzania
8 days, 7 nights
Intermediate to advanced riders
The second of our exploratory rides on the Out of Africa guided tour will see us riding in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, where the elephant is king and the scenery is unmatched. Horses, elephants, and oodles of wildlife – what more could you want in a safari? This one’s sold out as well, but keep your eyes peeled for next season.

Whew! I hadn’t fully realised what busy bees we’ve been before seeing all the new rides in one list!
As you may have noticed, many of these holidays are already partially or completely sold out, so if you’re looking for the trip of a lifetime in 2020, don’t delay.
We road test every single ride before adding it to our portfolio, so the quality is absolutely guaranteed – feel free to get in touch to discuss your individual needs with us.
