Caraiva is an old fishing village. When you arrive there, you see a large and turbulent river, surrounded by mangroves and crossed by canoes and boats of all kinds. On the other side, a series of small coloured houses are shadowed by large almond trees and coconut palm trees. It’s a beautiful and unforgettable view! There are no vehicles so it’s lovely to be able to walk through its charming sand-covered streets.
