‘After a long hiatus out of the saddle, the Margaret River Ride was a perfect reintroduction. All concerns were alleviated from the moment I arrived: beautiful surroundings, experienced and understanding staff, and extremely well-trained horses matched to each rider. This 5-day trip catered perfectly to all riders from intermediate to advanced. It was the best way to kick off my first-ever Globetrotting adventure—a toe-dipping exercise that has sparked great interest. The Margaret River Region is gorgeous and well known for its vineyards, forests, and the fact that it borders the beautiful Indian Ocean. All these are embraced in this ride. A highlight was an afternoon of learning the rudimentary rules of Polocross with Paul and then getting to have a go at a game. We were enthusiastic amateurs; it was extremely good fun. Jesters Flats is such a beautiful place to stay; the food was amazing, and the hosts were warm, welcoming, and hilarious company. I hit the jackpot with all the other people on our ride; everyone gelled right from the beginning. Being able to begin and end each day surrounded by such great company was an unexpected pleasure. I can truly say I would recommend this ride.’
