‘The River Valley Ride was everything we wanted in a ride. From beautiful mountaintop views of the NZ countryside to cantering on a loose rein through fields of sheep and cows, to forging across rivers, every day was different in the best way. I was a little nervous about the 8-day itinerary going in; however, having experienced it, I couldn’t imagine it being any shorter. The full 8 days allowed me to really bond with my horse and see so many different terrains. The horses were all so well-trained and responsive, riding barefoot and in a simple rope halter. Our guides did a fantastic job matching pairs; everyone loved their horse! All of the accommodations were lovely in their own way, but my favourite night by far was our night glamping under the beautiful NZ stars. I cannot recommend this ride enough!’
