‘I have always had a passion for riding, so when I saw the Glenorchy Back Country Ride advertised on Facebook, with all the positive reviews, I knew I had to do it. I was turning 50 this year, and it was time to start checking off the bucket list. This was #1 on my list and it will be a hard trip for anything to compare to. The entire experience was beyond my highest hopes. The horses, guides, scenery, food – just everything was perfect. I felt like a little girl filled with joy as we walked, trotted and cantered across the rivers, fields, forests, and up the mountains. This is exactly how I wanted to kick off the ‘second half’ of my life. I’m already planning to go on a few other Globetrotting adventures, as I know they have been perfectly and meticulously planned and the bar is set super high, ensuring the experience of a lifetime.
