‘This ride was very professionally run and our hosts were willing to accommodate any requests. Every day was so different, it’s impossible to pick a favourite. I loved each for different reasons. Jen, Jeremy and Meg were all so friendly right from the start and made us all feel very welcome. They are very knowledgeable, obviously adore their horses and are more than happy to share their expertise. More than anything, though, they are super nice people and great fun to be around.
I rode Opal, a very sweet girl who knows how to look after her rider. Very surefooted and careful, but eager to move along as well. Having meals at a salmon farm, raspberry farm and hazelnut farm was a lovely way to enjoy all the local produce while supporting the local businesses. The food at our accommodation was first class as well. I’m sure I came home 5 kilos heavier!’
