‘Everything was terrific, from our cheerful driver to the top-notch food! The visit to Coolmore Stud was amazing. Four of us had booked the ride together, and all the other single riders who were on the ride were fantastic and so fun to get to know and ride with. We have all stayed in contact Four of us booked as a friend group. The other five riders were so fun to get to know and ride with. We all bonded and shared moments and laughs, and have stayed in contact.  The coaches were so encouraging and confidence-building: the best! I rode Muldoon was a real gentleman; he knew his job and was quiet enough not to cause me any timid moments. He jumped the centre of every fence. Do this trip!’

‘I loved, loved, LOVED this trip – it was everything I had hoped for and more! I rode Tommy, a lovely cob who took great care of me. He was a little cheeky, but just what I needed to push my riding. I was so impressed by how each rider was partnered perfectly with the right horse for them – I actually cried when I said goodbye to Tommy. It was such a magical experience, and I am already collaborating with my barn mates to schedule our next ride! I only have great things to say about Globetrotting – exceptional trip, riding, and value. I will definitely be on another ride soon!’

‘This was the BEST trip. The riding, food, accommodations, and transportation were superb. Our instructor Celine was very capable, upbeat, positive and kind. I rode Muldoon, a big gelding who was a very safe and capable mount. Inch House was the perfect place to stay and our host Nora made us feel so welcome. The food on this trip was truly off the charts. After a full Irish breakfast at Inch House, we arrived at the equestrian centre to find coffee, tea and fresh croissants or scones laid out for us; and the only thing that competed with the amazing dinners at Inch House was chef Jason’s lunches at the equestrian centre, which included beautiful homemade desserts. We were truly treated so well, and everyone was happy and relaxed.’

‘I loved every minute of this holiday! Inch House was so pleasant and wonderful – Nora was the kindest and most respectful host. Our guides were all great and lunches at the equestrian centre were just jaw-dropping. I rode Bobby, who was very well suited to me! He was so spirited and always willing. The tour of Coolmore Stud Farm on the non-riding day was unforgettable. I honestly can’t think of any way that this ride could be improved!’

‘This trip exceeded my expectations. From the beautiful accommodation to the riding, every day was full of excitement, laughter and great horses. Meeting new friends from different countries was so good; having the same interests made us all very comfortable with each other from the very beginning. Nora and Sinead at Inch House are the most beautiful people, and our guides were top quality. The food was delicious and plentiful. I rode Gandalf, a Connemara cross gelding. He was such a great little horse and was matched perfectly to me. I’d definitely recommend this holiday!’

‘The entire trip was just magical. The horses were all rock stars, the accommodation was everything I could have asked for, the scenery was beautiful and the food was amazing. Nora and John went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The fireplace was always prepared for us to light a fire after dinner and gather on the couches with a glass of wine and talk about the day’s cross country adventures. I rode Pyjama and Gandalf – both were kind and a lot of fun. Pyjama was a sweetheart, always ready to jump over anything I asked her to, and she let me get comfortable with the different fences and obstacles. Gandalf was a powerhouse and I really enjoyed jumping the long cross country course on the last day with him. Every day was an absolute blast. All the jumping sessions were great and we had a lot of laughs. The team at the equestrian center were outstanding. I always felt safe yet challenged and it was a great experience. I highly recommend this ride to anyone who wants to fly over the green fields of Ireland on horses that truly enjoy what they do!’

‘The best ride I have had in many years, and I’m 53 years old. Nora is the friendliest host ever. Our coaches Connor and Mark were very social and friendly, and they knew very well what they were doing. I rode Micky and he was a champ. The last day of riding was my favourite. Everything came together. Beautiful weather and the best cross country experience. By the end of the trip I was much more confident while jumping. Do it!’

‘I have done a few holidays with Globetrotting and I have had divine experiences. Every part of this holiday was well planned and every day was spectacular! We had amazing coaches, guides and hosts. All the staff were very professional. I rode an Irish Thoroughbred and I was very happy with him. He was well trained, reliable and a good boy, yet he also pushed me to learn more. I highly recommend this ride!’

‘Globetrotting goes above and beyond to curate a top notch experience. It’s like having a dear friend who knows all the best local goodies to make for a fantastic experience in every aspect.
Nora at Inch House went above and beyond to see that we were all happy and having the best possible experience. The food was amazing! The five course dinners and freshly baked breakfast croissants were so decadent and delicious, and the coffee was excellent!
Mark’s style of coaching was ideal for me. He gave us the opportunity to get to know our horses and organically build our connection and confidence, culminating in a full cross country course. His feedback and insights were spot on. The horses truly were masters, and very kind to their riders. I had the privilege of riding Jack, Mark’s nearly-18hh Irish Sport Horse. He was a cross country jumping machine! I loved every minute. Truly an opportunity of a lifetime for me.
Thank you, Globetrotting, for putting together such wonderful experiences for equine adventurers to enjoy!’

‘This is a beautiful setting, with varied jumps and terrain. It was so liberating to be out of a ring, on horses who are doing what they enjoy and do so well. Monty was my mount for the week – he was super honest and lovely. He definitely loves his work and he took great care of me. Jumping was a blast. We worked in different areas of the land each day toward our final goal of putting a course together. That last jump day was incredible; I relive ‘our course’ every day: a line of three in a field, through the water, up the bank, down the lane along the river to the woods patch, another jump series, through a pasture, then a lovely line of four; finish with a swoop right up a bank, three generous steps, and a coop for the finale. I left much more confident in my riding and jumping.’

‘Cross country riding in County Tipperary was an amazing experience. My horse, Django, was a perfect match for me, and we were jumping over logs and obstacles from day one, even though I had not been riding in many years. Our instructor, Issy, was amazing! She knew exactly what to say to make my riding better. She built up our confidence and made us laugh. The accommodation at the luxurious Inch House was perfect. Nora, our host, looked after us extremely well and the food was sublime. We even had a few nights out in rural Ireland, which was an absolute hoot – singing and chatting with the friendly locals. If you are keen to canter and jump, this is the perfect ride!’

‘I’d always dreamed of riding in the Emerald Isle! The Cross Country ride in Tipperary enabled me to fulfill my dream. Lovely horses galloping across breathtaking Irish landscapes. The scenery was spectacular and Inch House was beyond my wildest expectations! The Egans were warm, welcoming, respectful and kind. I loved each and every meal. The desserts were fabulous! The excitement of jumping logs and banks will never be forgotten. I only wish I’d done this 25 years ago. Don’t put off this ride if you have a similar dream.’

‘This was a dream come true! We were treated like royalty from start to finish! Inch House was amazing and the food was perfection. We were made to feel right at home immediately.
The horses were brought out saddled and ready to go. We were constantly reminded that this was our holiday and we could jump or not jump anything we were comfortable with. The horses were experienced cross country horses with very forward movement. A bit intimidating on the first day, but the instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful. My horse Casey was SO much fun!! He will be in my heart forever. I learned a lot about the difference between riding a cross country horse and a show jumping horse. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to ride an Irish “Pegasus”!! I will definitely be coming back for another trip.’

‘This experience was everything I’d hoped for and more. The horse I was matched with knew her job and was an absolute pleasure to ride each day. The equestrian centre is absolutely breathtaking, with gorgeous green rolling hills and beautiful woods to explore. The team are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all things horse related. The accommodation is luxurious and comfortable, and the meals are absolutely delicious – as a food lover, I was not disappointed! Nora was a wonderful host and made the house feel like our own for the week. I’d highly recommend this ride to anyone who’s been dreaming of experiencing any form of cross country or showjumping in Ireland, with the added bonus of experiencing what it’s like to live in a beautiful Georgian mansion.’
