‘An adventure of a lifetime! Riding on horseback has to be the best way to experience this incredible landscape. The commanding rocky ranges with sheer cliffs and steep climbs give way to sandy plains of boab and kapok trees, with hidden hot springs and cool waterholes perfect for swimming. Every day was picture-perfect. The horses are highly trained, responsive and willing, each with their own personality. My horse Tom was an absolute star and made me feel very confident. As for the camping, it was luxury in the bush. Imagine falling asleep under a bright Milky Way and a full moon, tucked up in your swag, off the ground, toasty warm. Every night was stunning, and I never realised just how versatile a trailer camp kitchen could be! I definitely didn’t go hungry. All of our guides were highly competent, incredibly knowledgeable, always helpful, quick with a laugh, and up for a chat. This was hands down one of the greatest experiences I’ve had, and I cannot wait to go back and see more of what this incredible landscape has to offer.’

‘I had an amazing time from start to finish. The horses were amazing, so trustworthy. My horse Mack, a cheeky Brumby from the Victorian High Country, looked after me so well. All the staff were friendly and genuinely enjoyed their jobs, and the ride leaders made sure that everyone had a great time every day. I felt very well looked after. Sleeping under the stars was a fantastic experience. The landscapes we rode through were amazing. The highlights were the lookout at Saddleback, Zebedee Springs and Emma Gorge. Make sure to take the helicopter trip on the last day – it’s definitely worth it!’

‘Globetrotting makes everything so easy! The rides themselves are incredibly well thought out and the service from Globetrotting covers all aspects of the trip from booking to transfers, so all you have to do is pack your gear. This ride was an authentic way to experience the rugged Kimberley region. I was a little worried about going as a solo female, but there were 6 solo ladies on the trip, and the rest of the group was so friendly that it made no difference. I absolutely loved sleeping outside under the stars in the swags. Spending the last night in the riverside bungalows was a lovely treat, too. The food was amazing! From cooked breakfasts to huge lunch spreads and wholesome dinners, there was no way I was going hungry. All the horses were well behaved, fit and in great condition. I rode Sadjid and he was a perfect match for me. The staff went above and beyond – the level of service was second to none. Every day on this ride was different and that’s what made it so exciting!’

‘We loved our ride with Christian, Laura and the team. They all did everything in their power to make sure we enjoyed our holiday – we couldn’t recommend them more highly. Each rider was given care and attention, and everything was done neatly and cleanly. The food was amazing. All the horses appeared very well fed and cared for. I rode Harry, a well trained and responsive horse who did his job well. I loved the way that we would be riding along and suddenly come across the lunch camp or evening camp already set up. We were totally spoiled! I couldn’t think of a single improvement – the trip was awesome.’

‘I loved every bit of our six days living and breathing the epic Kimberley landscape while being guided by superhero horses and an amazing outback family team. We had very comfortable camps and shared lots of amazing food and stories amongst awesome new friends. I loved riding Limerick, a kind and beautiful mare who never put a foot wrong. The biggest highlights were riding into El Questro Station on day 5 and swimming in Moonshine Gorge and Zebedee Springs. Thanks Laura, Christian, Matt, Gwen, Sarah and Toby for being such gracious hosts. I’ll be riding with you again soon!’

‘I had the best time in the Kimberley, met wonderful people and really enjoyed the landscape and all the time in the saddle. The horse I rode, Zeus, made my trip. We were perfectly matched – I enjoyed his sass, but also found that he was a responsive, easy ride. Being my first riding holiday, I was a bit unsure of travelling alone, but I quickly made friends and bonded over our love of adventure and horses. I came home relaxed and refreshed. I’d definitely recommend this ride.’

‘You could not ask for better guides! They knew the history of where we rode, could identify flora and fauna, and were super helpful regarding the horses, riding, tack, etc. I felt comfortable and safe riding Riley, and I think he liked me too! The campsite, Nag Hole, was lovely. We spent most afternoons floating in the beautiful, refreshing waterhole with a glass of bubbles. Sleeping in a swag under the stars was magnificent. The camp bathroom and dunny had to be seen to be believed! Open air, flowers, perfume sticks, great hot water. The meals were varied and yummy.
Day four was my favourite. We got a lot of cantering in, waded through flooded roads and swam in waterholes. We stopped at Moonshine Gorge to swim and explore and it was like a movie set, so beautiful! Then we went to Zebedee Falls: four or five rock pools cascading into each other through absolutely sublime rainforest. The water was around 34 degrees, and if you stood under a waterfall it was a seriously dreamy massage! I wanted to stay forever, riding every day then coming back to Nag Hole.’

‘The adventure of a lifetime! Laura and Christian were incredible hosts and very passionate about the country and its history. The terrain and climate is tough, however the horses are exceptionally well trained and cared for, making the trip an absolute dream! I rode Harry, who was very well behaved, calm and responsive. Every day was amazing. A fabulous, immersive way to experience this part of the Kimberley.’

‘An incredible outback adventure. There is no better way to explore the breathtaking scenery of the remote Kimberley region than on the back of a forward-moving horse. We were riding through untamed wilderness and rugged beauty, savannah woodlands with ancient boab trees, along ranges and across rivers and billabongs. Our knowledgeable, attentive guides went the extra mile to make sure we had an unforgettable riding experience. The horses were reliable, responsive and in great condition. Swimming in tropical waterholes, enjoying delicious campfire cooking and sleeping in a cozy swag under the stars after a long day in the saddle was just perfect. Moonshine Gorge and the hot thermal pools were my highlights. And beautiful Limerick, a dream horse who I really bonded with. I shed a tear when it was time to say goodbye!’

‘The Kimberley Ride has stolen my heart with its raw Australian countryside, exploring places you would never get to see on foot or by car. Seeing this part of Australia through the ears of a horse is truly magical. The service and food were beyond expectations. The whole team goes above and beyond with many a surprise along the way. Each day is filled with wonderful adventures, varying scenery, history and stories, and the evenings are finished with a touch of magic. The horses are surefooted, responsive and very well looked after. I have many memories to take home that I will never forget!’

‘I had a wonderful time on The Kimberley Ride. Every day was different and I enjoyed the variety. Laura and Christian were very hospitable and together with Stephanie, Gwen and Matt they worked hard to make the experience great for everyone. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing. The scenery was great. The weather was quite hot, but there was an opportunity for a swim most days. The horses were well behaved and very hardy given the terrain. We were also very fortunate to have a fantastic, varied group of guests. I was really pleased that I did the ride and pleasantly surprised with the accommodation, as this was the first time I had ever camped.’

‘Everyone should do this ride. Yes it was hot and dusty, but it was a true Australian Outback experience. I felt so alive while riding and around the campfire. Sleeping on the camp stretchers in fly-net swags was a highlight of the trip. Waking up to the red sunrise was something I will never forget – a lifelong dream. I rode Limerick and she was just beautiful. Quiet as a kitten, with a lovely loping canter, I felt very safe but could still ask her to do things, as she was very responsive. The guides were all amazing – always smiling. They love their job and it shows. Every need I had was met. I loved every second of this experience.’

‘The Kimberley Ride surpassed all my expectations. Our every need was catered for and I had the most incredible experience. Our camp beds were brilliant, the food was fantastic and the guides and support staff were outstanding! I rode Mack, who was incredibly surefooted and made me feel very safe. Every day was just amazing. I returned feeling inspired, rejuvenated and ready to embrace my life again! Seeing this part of our country on horseback was a ‘bucket list’ event for me, and I intend to return and do the ride all over again. Best trek ever!!’

‘I met Shazam at the beginning of the ride,
I wondered how he would go by my side.
The moment I looked into his black deep eyes,
I knew he was my kind.
My trusted steed he became,
Carrying me safely along the way.
Across ancient landscapes, along scarps and roads
We walked, and trotted and cantered, full of joy and no thoughts.
Each day was unique, with the sun our constant friend,
We endured the long days in the heat to the end.
When the last day came, and I had to say goodbye,
I thanked Shazam with a tear in my eye.
Forever will I hold this beautiful horse in my heart
And be grateful to have met him, even though we are now apart.’

‘If, like me, you have never been to the Kimberley, this is the way to see it. Five days riding through an amazing and changing landscape. You will be in good hands with Laura and Christian and their wonderful team. Everyone was delightful – very organised, cheerful and relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble. Even if you are a beginner like me there is a horse, like the lovely Dotty, who will take very good care of you. I really loved sleeping under the stars, too. The camp set up was wonderful.
If you get the chance, this is a great adventure.’

‘What can I say? This is a ride where you want for nothing. The horses are smart, kind and trustworthy. The guides are charismatic, knowledgeable and a bunch of fun. My sister and I booked on the six-day ride and fled Sydney just as it spun into lockdown. Six days without reception was bliss, taking in the sights – Saddleback Lookout, Moonshine Gorge, Zebedee Springs – with a full cohort of riders. The scenery had you in awe, the yarns had you in disbelief and the mouth-watering food had you full. I rode two horses: Trixie and Blue. They were wonderful horses and I had full faith in them both, no matter the speed or terrain.
The ride was so great that when we got back to ‘civilisation’ and found out Sydney was going downhill, we did a U-turn and jumped on the Special Edition Kimberley Ride.
Both rides offer amazing scenery, comfortable campsites and high quality food. You get much longer in the saddle on the regular Kimberley Ride, so if I had to pick, this would be my favourite.’

‘The Kimberly Ride was the holiday of a lifetime for me. Laura and Christian were fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure we all had the best experience possible. The other guides Gwyn and Alice were so lovely, as were Chilli, Kath and the boys – they all looked after us and kept us safe and entertained. The food was better than a five star restaurant. Everything was so well organised. The swags were so comfortable and having a lovely hot shower at the end of the day was wonderful. Millie, the little mare I rode, was so laid back and made me feel very safe. I was able to take videos and photos whilst riding, knowing that she would not put a foot wrong. The horses overall were amazing, and in such great condition. The countryside was breathtaking and the views changed constantly. Many thanks to Laura and Kate for all their assistance in getting me there. It’s a holiday that I will never forget.’

Joanne Arbuckle

‘The Kimberley Ride was one of the best things I’ve done. The friendships formed with the ladies on this trip mean that I’ll always have a riding buddy on future Globetrotting rides. Everything was run so smoothly. Our guides Christian and Laura and their team were great – nothing was too much trouble. Always ready to have a chat, share a joke or help you find a good stump to use as a mounting block. I rode Riley and Blue, and both were great.
Every day brought a new experience – indigenous rock art, cattle, bulls, brolgas or bower birds. The scenery was like riding through a Namatjira painting – just amazing! I couldn’t fault the food. The candlelit long table dinner on “Risotto Night” looked so pretty under the stars. The swag was comfier than I had imagined and the last night at El Questro was just brilliant! The Kimberley region should be on everyone’s must-see list.’

‘My third ride with Laura and Christian so far! You can never go wrong with a ride with this crew and their horses! The Kimberley Ride was fantastic, with breathtaking landscapes. I rode Limerick, an absolutely beautiful mare who would do anything for an apple! Every day was great. The riding, weather and location are fantastic and the entertainment every night was wonderful. You are guaranteed to come back a few kilos heavier from the meals cooked up. The helicopter ride and walk to Emma Gorge were also highlights for me.’

‘The Kimberly Ride is one of the must-do rides in Australia. I loved camping under a sea of stars, eating fabulous food, seeing amazing outback country, wading through water holes and swimming after a long day in the saddle. I rode Dottie – she was the best horse! Very responsive, and I felt truly safe the whole time I was riding. I really bonded with her and actually had a tear in my eye when I said goodbye. The guides and team were all amazing – they made an effort to really get to know everyone and spend time with each of us, and they were very informative about the Kimberley. It was a truly amazing experience and I would go back in a heartbeat.’

‘I finally made The Kimberley Ride after it was cancelled last year and what a fabulous ride it was, definitely worth the wait! Christian and Laura and all the staff couldn’t do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble. I was lucky enough to ride the Victorian Brumby, Mack, who had such a lovely nature and was great to ride. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was to sleep under the stars in the camp beds with the swag. In fact, the whole camping experience was very good, and so well organised. The food was excellent and I was amazed at the variety. We even had a sit-down dining experience by candlelight with risotto on the menu – fantastic! The Kimberley is a beautiful, rugged place and we visited rivers, springs, mountains and Indigenous rock art. The highlight for me was riding to Zebedee Springs, where we tied up the horses and went for a swim in the thermal springs. We then cantered back to camp – such a memorable experience. I absolutely loved The Kimberley and I highly recommend this fabulous riding experience.’

Kate Williams

‘This was a life changing experience for us and our two boys. I’ve travelled in Australia my whole life, and what a unique way to see the land and wildlife. We felt part of the country, respectful and leaving no trace. The horses were amazing – sturdy, reliable, and in great condition. Our accommodation was perfect and the meals were always great and hearty.
The highlight of the trip was swimming in a waterhole at dusk after eight hours of riding, and with another hour’s ride back to camp. We had to search out the waterhole, as the guides had never been there and there was every possibility it would be dry, as were the previous two we’d visited that day. It was exhausting, amazing and unforgettable.
Christian and Laura were special people, who made it a special experience. The boys loved helping Christian shoe the horses. On the last day, after turning in the horses, Christian and Laura went above and beyond, taking us to a thermal spring in Emma Gorge, bringing cheese, beer and wine.
Money well spent. It was truly unforgettable.’

‘I had the adventure of a lifetime on The Kimberley Ride. To be honest, the night before leaving home as I was busily packing, I was thinking ‘Have I bitten off more than I can chew? Is this ride going to be a bit much for me? Can I camp?’ How wrong I was – I loved every single second of this ride and was very sad when it was over. The horses, the people, the glamping, the entertainment, the way that Laura and Christian go way above and beyond to ensure you have the best time you can – it’s all phenomenal. My horse Doc was amazing and I was sad to say goodbye to him. I could not have been happier with all of the staff, they were fantastic – always had a smile on their face and felt like friends. If you’re hesitating, trust me and just book it, you won’t regret it!’

Rebecca Turnbull

‘I have been on both the Craig’s Hut & High Country Ride and now The Kimberley Ride with Laura and Christian and could not recommend them enough – they look after your every need. The landscape is amazing and the horses are even better. I rode Doc, a lovely, kind, gentle boy, and I was very happy with him. We had beautiful accommodation at El Questro. The whole trip was great value for money. Our guides were great, especially Swampy and Ray, who sung a few tunes around the campfire. A highlight for me was Vinnie coming to camp and paying didgeridoo for us.’

The Margaret River Ride - Globetrotting horse riding holidays

Kate Stanbury

‘The Margaret River Ride was truly the best five days of my life! We had the most amazing time riding through the WA bush, seeing blooming wildflowers and mobs of kangaroos, all atop our wonderfully educated horses. I rode George, who was an absolute sweetie. He was kind, gentle, reliable, always willing to go forward when needed, and perfectly suited to me. Paul and Fiona were the most amazing hosts, looking after each and every one us, entertaining us with stories, and making sure everyone was having a great time. We had delicious home-cooked food every day, extra non-horsey activities each evening (chocolate decorating and the cocktail evening were highlights!), and warm, cosy accommodation. The most unforgettable experience was riding George in the crystal clear, blue waters of the Indian Ocean. We got to canter down the beach with the wind at our backs under a perfect blue sky, before untacking and taking the horses swimming, which was an experience I’ll treasure forever. If you want to really experience WA and its stunning southwest, then I would highly recommend this ride – it has something for everyone!’

‘Ahhh Kimberley, you did NOT let me down! You’ve been a bucket list item for many years and all the hype in my mind didn’t even compare. Once again, Christian and Laura have created a well-run operation in one of the most beautiful places in Australia. You can tell they care for their horses and their guests and they go the extra mile to make sure we have the very best holiday possible. They have a great team supporting them, too, hard-working angels! The entertainment around the campfire each night was a great way to end each day before rolling into our swags to gaze up at the stunning canopy of stars and fall asleep to the sound of the horses. Experiences you won’t get elsewhere in this world, delicious food, beautiful scenery, responsive horses. Heaven! I made new friends, caught up with precious Globetrotting buddies, and have countless memories that I will treasure forever.
If you’re thinking about doing it – DO IT.’

‘This is rugged and remote country and I am so pleased I experienced it on horseback. I rode Rob Roy, who was very safe, sweet and reliable. I’m sure I am not the only person to have shed a little tear when it was time to say goodbye. There were so many surprises, both organised and natural, and I was delighted to see brolgas and red tailed black cockatoos. The horses and all the crew were beyond expectations. I could have stayed forever.’

Robyn Okeefe

‘The Kimberley Ride was an experience of a lifetime. I could not fault the professionalism of Christian and Laura and their wonderful team. We were treated more like friends than clients. The horses were well trained, fit and blooming with health and energy even though our ride was the last of the season. The horse I rode was called Bugsy. She was perfect for me: well trained and surefooted, but always keen for a hoon! The daily rides were quite long, but interspersed with opportunities to learn about the history, flora and fauna of the area. On most days we were able to swim at lunch time or after the ride. Although the going was often rocky and rough, we had lots of opportunities to canter when it was safe to do so. The food and entertainment around the campfire were fantastic and sleeping under the stars in a swag was a highlight. I cannot recommend The Kimberley Ride more highly.’

Christine Coulton

‘The most fabulous experience! The country, the horses and the mix of people was perfect. The ride exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Laura and Christian, for one of the most special adventures of my life. I genuinely slept better in my swag/stretcher than I have anywhere else, ever… can I order one in queen size please?! THANK YOU.’

Chelsey Parish

‘This whole experience was perfect. My sister and I both absolutely loved this ride. From the incredible scenery to the tough little ponies, all in the company of great horsey people. The lovely big Quarter Horse Reilly carried me safely across El Questro Station and he was perfect for me. All the horses were strong, healthy, surefooted, well trained and well behaved. Sleeping under the stars in warm, comfy swags was a highlight. Also, the gluten free catering we received was exceptional. I highly recommend this ride!’

Jen Granger

‘Six days horse riding in the Kimberley. Wow, what a great adventure it was. Up to six hours’ riding each day through grass as high as the horse, along dusty red rocky roads in 35 degree heat, through scrub, across rivers and creek beds. We had surefooted, well trained and kind horses and amazing hosts, who were so well organised with a surprise around every corner. Beautiful swimming holes, sleeping under the super clear stars in a swag, amazing food, campfires, great stories and lots of laughs. This adventure challenged me every day and I also had lots of time to think about nothing, to just soak up the ride and enjoy our vast and incredible country, and the company of a great group of new friends.’

Debbie Squires

Thank you Laura and Christian for a fabulous, eye opening adventure. I loved every day of the ride and feel I have left a part of my heart in the Kimberley. Everything was carefully thought out – it was perfect. Sleeping under the stars was totally breathtaking and the meals were all 5 star restaurant quality. Again, thank you for the kind horses, wonderful food, many laughs, and for showing me that I am tougher than I thought.’

‘Hot days and cool nights under a canopy of stars. Rugged country, spectacular scenery and some mesmerising hidden gems. The whole team was so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. They are a well-oiled machine and very knowledgeable about the area. The food was amazing and there was an abundance of it. My favourite experience was just being in that beautiful country. At times I just didn’t know where to look to take it all in. I loved going to Emma Gorge, and I was chuffed with the experience of cantering the length of the air strip heading into El Questro Station, just to be able to say that I did it! I rode a little paint mare called Tilly. She was a gem to ride and made me feel safe. I would have happily taken her home! This was an unforgettable riding holiday.’

Madeleine Haussegger

Astonishing.

‘The Kimberley Ride was an amazing experience. Christian, Laura and the crew are so helpful and friendly. I would definitely ride with them again. Every aspect from the horses to the food, gear and bedding was spot on. I rode Bonnie, and we were a perfect match. She was very similar to my own horse. I loved Christian’s chicken and mushroom risotto, and Laura’s panna cotta. I thought someone was getting married when we rode in and saw the white tablecloth and white chairs set up at the campsite! I loved every minute of this ride.’

‘The Kimberley Ride was really good value. I would definitely recommend it! I spent most of my time getting to know Rod and Gwen. Both were really knowledgeable, friendly, professional and helpful. They knew heaps about the areas we were riding in, and the bush tucker. Couldn’t fault them. Both Gwen and Rod clearly rode their horses with a view to looking after the rest of us – impressive! I rode a wonderful small mare called Millie. She had lovely manners and was beautiful to ride – we enjoyed some good canters. It was a great idea to stop at the quarry for a cold beer!’

‘I thoroughly enjoyed The Kimberley Ride and the people who ran it. They really made the trip with their excellent service, banter and knowledge of the area and horses. It was a dream to ride in the outback and they certainly delivered with plenty of extras. A safe and fun trip able to be enjoyed by anyone who’s keen. I definitely recommend it!’

Monica Foster

‘Warm days. Rocky roads. Open flats. Beautiful horses. Amazing staff. Plenty of new friends. Amazing food. A few sneaky surprises. It’s impossible to sum up a trip like this. Hands down 15/10. Everything you could possibly want from an outback horse ride was right here. Take all my savings right now. I’d do this ride 100 times over! Not only are we lucky enough to experience the best that Australia has to offer, we get to do it from the back of a beautiful horse, with a group of like-minded people who just want to make the most of their experience. These are the holidays that you can go on over and over and they’ll never be the same again.’

Cynthia Maclaine

‘I have just returned from The Kimberley Ride and I’m missing it all so much. It was my sixth trip with Laura and Christian, and I keep coming back to them as they are consistently 100% fantastic. I rode Noss, who had the smoothest canter, and was bold yet quiet and well mannered. The scenery was beautiful and our guides so were knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, and the history of the land. The food was first class and all dietary restrictions were catered for. I am a vegetarian and a fussy eater, and there was never a reason to be hungry!
Sleeping under the sky in swags on camp beds was so much fun. The shower always had hot water and was very flash for a bush shower. Most days we had safe, freshwater swimming holes to hang out in, too. We had a didgeridoo player join us one night, and a guitarist and singer another night. The last night at Emma Gorge staying in upmarket cabins with ensuites was luxury. Just do it!’

Lara Peake

‘The Kimberley Ride was top shelf – rather like the local Ord River Rum enjoyed at our last lunch together. Laura and Christian were delightful hosts and brilliantly supported by their horses and backup crew, who were all most kind and willing. We had the best hot showers I have ever had on a camp trip, although who needed them when we had freshwater springs to splash in in – hot and cold! The camp meals were amazing and there was always a great spread with a range of choices. My horse, Bugsy, was perfectly suited for this ride – surefooted, very responsive to weight and leg, never tired, and a light mouth; we rode with a loose rein most of the time. She was keen to take any challenge on and own it gracefully – a super mare. The ride over Saddleback was really interesting, and it was rather special being able to linger at Zebedee Springs after the other visitors to El Questro had to leave.’

Kathie Eastway

‘What an experience! Christian and Laura have put together an unforgettable ride through this spectacular and iconic Australian landscape. From swimming in pristine waterholes to camping under ancient boab trees, the ride was an amazing adventure. The horses were really well suited to every rider’s ability and I enjoyed all my time, both in the saddle and out of it.’

Sarah Leonard

‘The Kimberley Ride was surreal. I truly could not have asked for a better holiday. Everything was so carefully planned and well executed, making my experience smooth and enjoyable but still as authentic as it gets! Breathing in the clean, crisp air and sleeping under the stars every night while listening to the horses munch on hay was magical. The little mare I rode was a perfect match for me and she quickly became my partner. The land felt so ancient and untouched and I feel like the luckiest girl alive to have explored such an extraordinary place on a very special horse. As someone who just can’t get enough of being in the saddle, I was in absolute heaven!’

Leticia Brown

‘From the food to my swag to my horse, every bit of this experience was amazing. The whole trip was co-ordinated perfectly and the horses were absolutely amazing. Not only were they well behaved, they all had their unique personalities and gorgeous movement.’

Heath & Shannon Hartwell

‘Everything about this holiday was easy. So simple to book and once we arrived we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everything ran smoothly and anything out of the norm was all part of the adventure. The team behind The Kimberley Ride were out of this world – lovely horse people and catered so well for us all. The best thing was having great horses and comfortable tack. We loved the horses we rode and the amount of hours in the saddle – it felt like we got to experience the real Kimberley, not just a blur as we would in a car. The food was out of this world and we all missed our swags when we arrived at El Questro for our last night. It was my first time on a Globetrotting ride and my husband’s first horse riding holiday, and we won’t be booking through anyone else from now on. Now to start ticking off the rest of our riding bucket list!’

Nena Hicks

‘This is a unique experience and excellent value for money. You will learn a lot about a special part of Australia and a lot about yourself.’

‘Camping out under the stars, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, swimming in thermal springs and billabongs, great food, horses, hosts and company… 10/10.’

Millie Brown

“I can highly recommend this ride to anyone who loves horses, camping and the Australian outback.”

Lyndal Mellefont

‘If you’re a lurker on this website then now is the time to commit! I spent about a year prowling around on this site and finally pulled the trigger in June 2017. A year later and I have just done my first Globetrotting trip to the Kimberley and am seriously asking myself why I didn’t do this sooner. Perhaps like me you are a solo traveller who needs a long lead up before your first trip to get your confidence up? Trust me, it will be the best decision you ever make. Great riding, great people (both crew and guests), magnificent country and just the confidence boost you need. I’m already looking into booking my next trip. Will you join me?
Truly, Winston Churchill had it right: no hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle.’

“Christian and Laura Hayes run a superb riding experience over five days and nights in the Kimberley, one of the remotest, most rugged and harsh but beautiful parts of Australia. Christian is a superb and hard working horseman, chef, farrier, organiser and host. We had a wonderful riding and accommodation experience with Christian and Laura, and their friendly and competent team. The horses are also excellent. I was lucky to have had the opportunity to ride the excellent Rob Roy for the duration. He was forward moving and a great experience to ride.’
