‘I turned 57 while on my trip with these incredible horses and beautiful, like-minded people. For me, it was the first day of the rest of my life. I loved camping, they had enough of everything to accommodate our comforts and needs. The natural spring (ice bath plunge pool) was my daily go-to and invigorated me after each day of riding. Being a vegetarian, every morning, our amazing cook Heather checked in with me regarding the evening meal that would await us. I felt like a spoilt queen. I rode Jatz., this mare and I were soul mates. I don’t know how Brad and Michaela managed such perfect matches for all of us. My bucket is well and truly overflowed with gratitude, soul food , love for nature and this adventure. Thank you!’

‘It was great to escape from the internet and immerse myself in a beautiful environment with like-minded people. I rode Clover; she had a lovely nature and was in very good condition. She was surefooted and very suited to her task! Brad and Michaela ran a very professional service, their horsemanship abilities were excellent as were their people and organisational skills. their local knowledge was extensive too. Every day was enjoyable!’

‘I had a fantastic week with a great group of ladies and one special 9-year-old. Every day was different and magical. I rode Clancy, he was lovely. I always seem to get the dark brown horse, which suits me fine as my old boy was a dark brown quarter horse. Clancy was willing, calm, and seemed to love his job. Nothing fazed him; I’d take him home tomorrow if I could. All the guides and staff were lovely, friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard to ensure everyone had a great experience!’

‘I had one of the best weeks ever on the Kosciuszko Ride. Riding the beautiful Django and guided by Michaela and Brad, this nervous rider enjoyed every minute of it. Beautiful horses, people and country – what more could you ask for!’

‘What an incredible experience The Kosciuszko Ride was! From the stunning Australian bush, the magic of seeing Brumbies running wild, the laughs around the campfire and, of course, the amazing horses, it exceeded my expectations on every level. My trusty partner, Jester, was so surefooted and sensible, yet also able to take me for some amazing canters across the plains. I could not have asked for a better way to celebrate turning 50, and I will be sure to return for another ride in the coming years.’

‘This ride far exceeded our expectations! Brad, Michaela and Hoff were the ultimate tour guides and hosts. Their knowledge of the environment and history of the region was vast and freely shared, both on the rides and around the campfire. The camp setup and meals were excellent. The horses were of exceptional quality in all aspects, particularly their level of training and their condition. All the horses were very well matched to riders’ abilities. The standout experience was getting close to a mob of brumbies on foot and witnessing the birth of a foal, as well as observing the herd dynamics. This was our first Globetrotting ride, but it certainly won’t be our last!’

‘This was our first Globetrotting ride and won’t be our last. The level of detail before and during the ride was exceptional. Brad, Michaela and Hoff were exceptional in their knowledge of the area, their horses, horsemanship, and everything we encountered on the ride. I highly recommend them. The day we saw the Brumby mare give birth and the foal take its first steps was truly amazing. I rode Django the Gypsy Cob. We had a connection from the start and he got to know my subtle commands well. I’m looking forward to our next Globetrotting adventure!’

‘Desperately needing a recharge, this getaway delivered in so many ways! For an intermediate ride, the mind was constantly challenged with horsemanship but was rewarded with the surrounding beauty of this area. There were creeks and bogs to cross, steep hills to climb, forest tracks with branches to dodge, floral fields and dancing grass. Wild country scents and Brumbies – it doesn’t get much better!’

‘I highly recommend this ride! Riding a beautiful horse with exceptional guides who take the time to share their knowledge of horses and the land is a fantastic way to explore the Kosciuszko National Park. I rode Ziggy, and she was lovely, I felt completely at ease. Riding in the rain and seeing brumby mobs was so special and something I will never forget.’

‘When a life’s dream is in the offing, and those often dreamt-of moments can be lived, your senses are fulfilled, satisfied, completely.
Dreams can become realities in the Kosciusko. Oh, and I found Denny.’

‘Really glorious high plains country and ample Brumby sightings. Good riding stock. Brad, Michaela and Summer made the camp as good as good could be and fostered a really harmonious, relaxing experience. They’re excellent folk doing a great job in an environment. So memorable.’

‘I had the time of my life! The horses were amazing; I rode Jatz and wanted to take her home. The scenery was breathtaking and the food was delicious. The guides were very knowledgeable and riding with them was a pleasure. The other riders in the group were also great company and we had fun chatting around the campfire. I didn’t want to leave at the end of the week!’

‘The Kosciuszko Ride allows you to see nature from another perspective. You blend into it, become close to brumbies and feel the air of the bygone era of “The Man from the Snowy River”. The guides are fantastic, true locals sharing their knowledge about the environment and local history. I rode Blizzard, it was a perfect match, and I totally fell in love with him. He was forward-moving and energetic, yet he was gentle and careful in the difficult terrain. Every single day was amazing, and no two days were ever the same.’
