The combination of horse riding and wineries is simply magical. Every day was different, yet each was filled with taste sensations and beautiful wines to sample. Tiff, Lorraine, Lenny, and Bernie were the ultimate hosts and guides, and new friendships have been formed. If the opportunity arises, the Shoalhaven Ride is one not to be missed!’

‘This ride is everything I wanted it to be and more. Thanks to the amazing experience that Tiff has curated, I had an absolutely incredible three days. Her horses are clearly family, and she was open to sharing her knowledge and experience with us. The holiday had a wonderful balance of amazing riding, wine tasting, and food; I truly couldn’t have asked for more. This ride did wonders for me. I was able to be fully present for three days and just enjoy the amazing experience. I have taken away such fond memories of cantering along the beach at sunrise, swimming with the horses in the river, and cantering up some amazing hills surrounded by nature. ‘If you love horse riding in beautiful surroundings with fantastic people and delicious food, then this is the perfect ride for you! The hosts were outstanding, making us feel at home and very welcome, and we didn’t want to leave. All the food was awesome, especially the cheese and the lasagna – I need the recipe! I rode Flick on the Trail ride and Vegas on the Beach ride, and both horses were amazing, but Flick was just like a supermodel, with a beautiful trot and a sweet disposition. He gave me heaps of confidence and renewed my love for riding. Tiff and Bernie were great too, giving us lots of tips to help us feel more confident, and they were quick to recognize our riding abilities and match us to the horses that suited us. There were many standout moments, from the wine tasting (so much laughter) to the beach ride, and the afternoon spent in Berry. However, my favorite was the last day with a packed lunch at the top of the mountain’

‘Tiff and her parents were incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts. The comfortable beds and delicious home-cooked breakfast were standout features of my stay. The quality of the horses was exceptional. I rode Flick, who was calm and an absolute pleasure to ride. All of the horses had beautiful temperaments. During my stay, I learned a great deal from Tiff and her gentle techniques. This was my first time riding bitless, and I found it to be an excellent experience for both horse and rider. Getting to know Bernie, our guide, was a real pleasure, a local horse enthusiast and a lovely person. Every day was a joy, but the beach ride and the high tea on the cliff face were truly unforgettable experiences. I highly recommend this ride!’

‘Everything was amazing, and it felt luxurious! Being in the pool house, we had our own private space and bathroom, which was so nice. Tiff was so beautiful and accommodating, making us feel super comfortable, and even left little treats for us. All the restaurants and cafes were so beautiful and delicious. I rode Buckley. He was a big sweetheart, so chilled and so cute. On the beach, I rode Vegas, a gentle giant who gave me the smoothest ride, and I was able to really stretch him out and go for a good run. On the last day, I rode Prosecco, who was equally as amazing. I came into the ride not keen on Arabs (due to other experiences) but I was definitely proven otherwise! The horses are so well cared for. You can see it through how much they love and respect their Mum (Tiff). If I ever came again, I wouldn’t even mind which horse I was on because they are all just that incredible! The beach ride was definitely a highlight – especially riding at sunrise! The ride to the river was so pretty that I felt like I was riding through a fairy garden!’

‘Tiff was the loveliest, most generous and kind guide/host; she and her parents made us feel so welcome and spoiled from the moment we walked on their property. Tiff’s knowledge of not only horsemanship but also the area we explored was impressive. I rode Shiloh, a gorgeous little pocket rocket. Not only were the horses lovely and healthy, but it was obvious that Tif loved each and every one of them very much. The bond she had with them was just incredible and so inspiring. The whole experience was perfection. I wish I could bottle up the feeling of happiness and contentment I felt while riding through the stunning landscapes in Shoalhaven.’

‘The attention to detail in the presentation of our rooms was incredible – down to hand-picked flowers with a lovely smell, the bed being turned down every evening with a little dessert & even finding a candle having been lit in the bathroom when going to shower after returning from riding. I rode Shiloh – I loved him! He was perfectly forward without feeling any worry it would be difficult to hold him back. I really appreciated the consistency of riding the same horse both days so I could get to know him a bit. Both Tiff and Bernie are so amazing and have inspired me to continue riding for as long as I can.’

‘Tiff and her parents really made the trip special, with great riding and lovely horses! The bedroom was beautiful, and I really appreciated the cooking. The other standout was the wood-burning stove being lit on two cooler days, which made the sitting room so cosy and reminded me of home. I rode Shiloh—I loved that he was responsive both for speeding up and slowing down! I enjoyed him being the lead horse on the last day and showing off his endurance trot! I also really loved riding in bitless bridles.’

‘I have just finished the Shoalhaven Ride with Tiff and her beautiful horses. The property is immaculate, and the accommodation was very comfortable. Every meal, either home-cooked or dining out, was beautiful. I rode the beautiful Flick, who was sweet and looked after me. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer horse and riding bitless requires a lot of trust but Tiff spent time working with our connection to our horse before the ride, it was amazing. The beach ride was a highlight, as was the high tea with Prosecco scones on the cliff top. I enjoyed every minute and will be going again’

‘The Shoalhaven Ride is a wonderful experience. We were warmly welcomed and looked after very well by an extremely lovely family. The accommodation was excellent and all meals were delicious. It was great to have the opportunity to try so many different local foods, all accompanied by a variety of wines. My horse, Freddie, was very responsive and I really enjoyed riding him. My favourite day was when we rode for 6 hours in the sunshine, then cooled off in the pool, before enjoying cocktails, a cheese platter, a massage, a delicious meal, and finally music, dancing and laughter.’

The accommodation is divine. Their home is well loved and you can feel that everywhere you go. The itinerary is so well planned. Every day has different scenery and new experiences. High tea on top of a mountain, beach rides followed by a winery lunch, a night on the town, a shopping trip with coffee and (the best ever) donuts – how much better can it get?!
Bernie and Tiff are exceptional guides who clearly love what they do, and their total respect and tenderness towards the horses is a joy to watch. The horses pay them back in bucketloads. They are stunning: beautifully mannered, even tempered and super responsive. I can’t recommend this trip more highly. The memories will stay with me forever!’

‘I loved each day for a different reason. Day one’s ride to the lookout was spectacular, and to be met by high tea on the clifftop was very special. Day two’s sunrise beach ride was probably the favorite – I have a soft spot for a sunrise on the beach between two ears. This was followed by an awesome breakfast, and the rest of the day exploring the town, wineries and lookouts just topped it off. All the meals were delicious, hearty and well thought out. The horses were very safe and reliable and knew their job. Tiff and Bernie were fabulous guides, meticulous with horse and rider safety, lovely company at every point and nothing was ever too much trouble. By day two they felt like forever friends. Lenny and Lorraine were just amazing and welcomed us into their home so warmly. It felt like going home and having your mum spoil you for the weekend!’

This daydream is The Shoalhaven Ride! The adventure begins with views of a maple tree lined driveway and horses in their fields. Knowing one of them is all yours for the duration of your stay makes it even more thrilling (especially if you get Marsara – she’s amazing and super responsive). Every day is fun-filled, with food from the home and at restaurants, wine, horses and riding through nature with different terrains and views. ‘Every day of this ride was enjoyable and the value for money was excellent. I had an especially nice time on day 3 when we rode down to the river and played around skimming stones, then tucked into a simple saddle bag lunch. ‘The Shoalhaven Ride was a fabulous riding, food and wine experience in a beautiful region. It was my first Globetrotting trip and I loved it. We had a variety of wonderful dining experiences at our accommodation, on rides, and at restaurants and wineries. Tiff and Bernie knew their environment and horses like the back of their hands. They were always ready to engage with our group, and made sure everyone was comfortable along the way. Len and Lorraine looked after us at home and on our picnic – the prosecco scones at Illaroo Lookout were quite something! Our fantastic morning on Seven Mile Beach with no one else around was a ride like none before, and my horse Texas seemed to enjoy it as much as me. On the trail rides I had the pleasure of riding Flick, a veritable Black Beauty who loves his life and is a true gentleman. I would recommend this ride to anyone who is keen to try a Globetrotting trip.’

Tiffany and her parents were amazing hosts at Champagne Hill – and what a location nestled amongst the national park. The Shoalhaven area has some amazing wineries and eateries and all of our meals were amazing – I don’t think I could single one out, I loved them all! The horses were all well suited to their riders and the other guests were great fun. I rode Shiloh, who was a delight, and I loved the bitless bridle so much I’m even thinking of trying it on one of my own horses. Galloping at sunrise on Seven Mile Beach and the high tea at the lookout were my two favourite experiences.’

Tiff obviously loved and cared about her horses so much, and through her stories I learned a lot. She and her family were fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome. Champagne Hill was a beautiful property and a lovely place to relax in between rides and activities. My only regret is not staying longer!’

The weather was nothing but perfect, the views were amazing and the horses felt like long-time companions. ‘Tiff and Bernie are such beautiful, amazing souls – they genuinely cared for every single rider and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The trails they took us on were hidden gems with unrivalled, breathtakingly gorgeous scenery. I rode Masarah for the majority of the ride, and on the beach I rode Barry. They were both so attuned to what was required of them and so patient with me, and I can’t describe how much that boosted my confidence and riding skills!
The beach ride was by far the most memorable. The scenery was out-of-this-world beautiful, and being able to fly across the sand as the darkness bled into light, with the peacefulness of a still-sleeping world and the sound of lapping waves, was a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
We had so much good food and wine at every single meal – they were all stand-outs! Tiff has done an amazing job scouting out all the must-visit places in the Shoalhaven region. Her parents, Lenny and Lorraine, had big smiles and beautiful attitudes that just made this trip all the more sublime and unforgettable.

Absolutely outstanding horses – confident, eager, willing, light and responsive, all ridden bitless with super comfy tack. I rode Shiloh and he was my absolute dream horse. If only I could take him home!! I loved the introductory groundwork with our horses, the spectacular picnic up on top of the lookout and the magical beach ride as the sun rose, and the speedy zoom up the mountain on the last day was a true highlight. ‘The Shoalhaven Ride and its mix of bush and beach riding was truly a fabulous holiday. Tiff and her family are so welcoming and generous. The meals were simply divine and the accommodation was beyond beautiful. We all had our own rooms and the farmhouse was surrounded by stunning gardens overlooking the paddocks and distant mountains. The pool was an added bonus for quick dips after our rides. The beach ride at sunrise would have to be my favourite day and will remain with me forever. We had long canters along the sand, dipping in and out of the water. It was so much fun and while it was fast, the horses never felt out of control. I really enjoyed our trips out to local restaurants and vineyards, too. We all felt very spoilt.’

‘We could not have asked for a better host and guide than Tiff. She went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our holiday, taking into account things my 11 year old granddaughter could also enjoy. I rode Drover, who was very sweet, willing, safe and well behaved. The beach riding stands out in my memory: due to the timing of the tides we had an early morning ride, which was lovely, with good long canters along the edge of the waves. The accommodation was excellent. We all enjoyed our dips in the pool after each day’s ride and I especially liked Tiff’s cocktails. The stand-out food experience for me was riding all the way to the top of the mountain to find that Tiff’s parents had set up a table complete with white tablecloth, delicate sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and other delicious goodies… fantastic!

‘This ride was the perfect long-weekend getaway. The horses were wonderful – naturally trained, and you could tell they were loved and cared for. I rode Flick, who was forward and responsive, surefooted and fast. It was my first time riding in bitless bridles and they were excellent. It felt no different to a normal bridle, but so much softer and more comfortable for the horse. The rides were spectacular. The food and wines were delicious and the company outrageously fun. He was a great little horse and very forward moving – he and I lead out on some days. Our guides and hosts were great. Tiff is a very caring person who loves her horses to bits and was always there to help. Bernie, the second guide, was with us every day with a BIG smile and a wonderful attitude. The whole family were awesome. I loved them all.
Every day was great, but the ride to the river was my most memorable day. It was the biggest riding day and I loved the spectacular views on the way down to the river. It was quite a steep descent and climb back up, but the horses handled it with ease. I enjoyed the beach ride very much, too. Getting to ride a heavy horse was wonderful and we had some great canters.’

‘We have just returned from three magnificent days in the Shoalhaven region. We loved every second. Tiff is an incredible host – warm, engaging and considerate, with amazing attention to detail. She and her lovely parents, as well as the gorgeous Bernie, looked after us beautifully. They made us feel incredibly welcome and provided us with many, many great laughs, stories and conversation. The food was delish, from home made prosecco scones and finger sandwiches on a clifftop, to cheese platters and organic wines by the firepit, to a magnificent seafood platter lunch and a three-course dinner at a local restaurant.
Tiff matched each of us perfectly with her much-loved equine family members. I rode Flick, who was utterly divine – highly responsive with a gorgeous temperament and movie star looks. The scenery was spectacular. I felt like I was actually in one of Arthur Boyd’s paintings as I sat with Flick having lunch by the river looking across the calm, reflective water to the stunning rock formations and pristine Aussie bushland. Another highlight was cantering Tex, the Clydie-cross, on stunning Seven Mile Beach as the sun shone and the salt water sprayed on my face – wow!
All in all, a brilliant holiday. I can’t wait to return!’

‘The Shoalhaven Ride is amazing! The guides are really kind and look after both you and the horses super well. It was a pleasure spending the weekend with them! The horses themselves are stunning, well cared for and matched to perfection with each rider. I rode Drover and he was superb. He took care of me the entire ride and didn’t put a foot wrong. He was also really responsive, which was great – it was like he could read my mind! The scenery is stunning. Just spending the day riding through the bush is super relaxing, and you can just chill out and soak it all in. The beach ride is a great thrill – cantering along a wide open beach is something every rider should do at least once! I highly recommend this ride for a weekend away from the world to step back and recharge in luxury.’

‘I would definitely recommend The Shoalhaven Ride. Our guides were impeccable. Nothing was too much trouble – Bernie even waded waist deep into the river to leg me onto Shiloh for a swim! Tiff and her parents showed us amazing warmth and hospitality and the feeling of being a part of their family was lovely, and Lenny’s stories were a hoot! Lorraine couldn’t do enough for us and the property was stunning. The food was faultless, too. The Prosecco scones should receive their very own Michelin Star!
My favourite moment was racing down Seven Mile Beach. So much speed and exhilaration, without a care in the world. I couldn’t wipe the grin off my face for hours! I rode Ebony, the little pocket rocket, on the beach ride and I couldn’t have asked for a better horse.
For the rest of the trip I rode Shiloh and he was absolutely perfect for me: forward, fearless, happy out front on his own and super responsive. He was so much fun to ride and I bonded with him instantly.
The value for money was excellent and the only other inclusion I’d like to see is free second holidays for all returning globetrotters!’

‘Tiff and her family truly went above and beyond to make Tyson’s birthday memorable. They welcomed us with open arms and really spoiled us.
The intimacy of this boutique ride really allowed us to get to know our ride buddies on a personal level. We were so lucky to meet two others riders of similar age and interests that we absolutely hit it off with. It was quite a unique experience to find like-minded adventure buddies who we hope to continue wonderful friendships with.
The philosophy of riding bitless and barefoot spoke to us on a very deep level, and it was clear that Tiff really put her heart and soul into training her horses. Shiloh and Flick were so responsive and in tune with Tyson and I, and each horse had a unique, affectionate character. It was clear that they were all deeply loved family members and their welfare was prioritised above all else.
We had plenty of kick-ass runs, beautiful weather and incredible company. If you are thinking of doing The Shoalhaven Ride, stop thinking about it and just bloody book it!’

‘A magic three days on the new Shoalhaven Ride. This trip combines riding in the Aussie bush with gourmet food and wine. Spectacular scenery ranging from thick forest to rocky escarpments, down to the ocean and white, sandy Seven Mile Beach. The accommodation is on Tiff’s beautiful farm, with gorgeous luxury bedding and yummy home cooked gourmet meals. Our guides, Tiff and Bernie, were wonderful, making us feel very welcome and ensuring the safety of everyone at all times. The horses are beautiful Arabs: well cared for, high quality, well mannered and obviously loved and pampered. There were good opportunities for trotting and cantering, especially along the beach, which was amazing! Delicious food at every stop and unlimited wine and champagne. Tiffany is an amazing horsewoman and I love that she has rescued some of her horses from sad situations and retrained them in a gentle and ethical way to be trustworthy and enjoyable to ride. I would highly recommend this experience, and would love to go back one day!’
