‘It was a beautiful place! The location on the river made for a stunning background to enjoy after the long rides. The food was wonderful! There was so much attention to making sure we were well looked after with plenty of food, before, after and during the rides. I rode Dakota. He was a forward-moving, very well-mannered horse. I stayed out of his way, and he took care of me up and down some steep hills. He was also very fun! Always seemed ready for a good gallop, which I loved! Nicola and Emily were amazing guides and so passionate about the horses and making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoyed the rides. Riding to the Marae and staying there the night was an amazing and unique experience I will never forget.’
