‘What an amazing place to take a ride! The scenery is spectacular and varied – we rode through native beech forests, around mountains, across glacier-fed streams, through grassy river flats and up hills with snow capped mountains as the backdrop all the way. My horse, Gizzy, was a little beauty who was willing to go anywhere and do anything. We had the best time including an amazing swim in the river and a beautiful long canter up a grassy slope together. Our guides Bijmin, Jess and Casey were fantastic – they had an amazing knowledge of horses, riding, Maori culture and New Zealand. The trip was really well put together and each day was different. I highly recommend this trip. Loved it!’
