‘Oh, India, THANK YOU. Thank you for being amazing and colourful, welcoming and heartwarming. For being loud and invigorating, and for everything a journey should be. The magnificent Marwari horses, with their busy little ears, swivelling constantly as we walked and trotted and cantered through villages and dusty tracks and huge sand dunes that you couldn’t see an end to. They are amazing – intelligent, beautiful, gentle and strong. We had dinners by the campfire and woke to cannon shots celebrating Diwali, had crazy fun jeep safaris over rocks, watched beautiful Indian women dancing, and laughed all night to share stories. Beautiful, simple, plentiful local food, served with cheeky grins and shy smiles.  This was, hands down, the best ride I have done!’
